Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Rhymet.com (“Rhymet.com”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use this site (the “Site”), a free online rhyming dictionary operated by the team behind verselab. We’ve kept it short because we collect very little.
1. Who we are
The Site is operated by Jon-Tec Labs Jonatan Łoś, ul. Kaliskiego 15a, 01-476 Warszawa, Poland (NIP 9512374671) — the company behind verselab. For any privacy question or request, contact us at support@verselab.ai.
2. What we collect
- Usage analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies or collect personally identifiable information. It records anonymous, aggregated data such as page views, referrer, country, device type and page path.
- Technical data. Like any website, our servers process your IP address and browser user-agent to deliver pages and protect the Site. We do not store your raw IP address in a database; to limit abuse of the free AI feature we store only a one-way hashed value for a short period (up to 7 days).
- Content you submit. If you use the optional AI writing demo, the text you type is sent to our AI provider to generate a suggested line, and the rhyme word you look up is counted anonymously so we can show “popular rhymes”. We do not ask for or require an account, name or email to use the Site.
3. Cookies
The Site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser may use local storage to remember text you entered in the demo on your own device; this stays in your browser and is not a cookie sent to us.
4. Why we process data (legal bases)
We process the limited data above on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving a free tool, and to respond to you when you contact us. We do not sell your data or use it for profiling or advertising.
5. Service providers
We rely on a few processors who handle data on our behalf:
- Vercel — hosting and cookieless analytics.
- Anthropic (and/or our AI infrastructure provider) — processes the text you submit to the AI demo to generate suggestions.
- Upstash — temporary storage of the hashed values used for rate-limiting.
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (e.g. in the United States); where they do, they rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Retention
Anonymous analytics are retained in aggregate by our analytics provider. Hashed rate-limit values are deleted automatically within 7 days. Aggregated rhyme-popularity counts contain no personal data.
7. Your rights
If you are in the EEA/UK, you have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to processing. Because we collect so little and no account is required, we may be unable to identify data relating to you. To exercise a right or ask a question, email support@verselab.ai. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority (in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, UODO).
8. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above shows the latest version.
